HAPPY NEW YEAR: TOP 10 VIDEOS OF 2017

Say goodbye to 2017 with our selection of TOP 10 girl power videos. From Cali to Chicago and all the way to New York, there is something for everyone. Enjoy!

1. LUCCI VEE FEAT. SASHA GO HARD – DOWN FOR MY B´S

This video has a special spot, because we just couldn’t ignore the fact there are so many women rappers from Chiraq. So raw, such unique style. Lucci Vee and Sasha Go Hard won it. And we love the loyalty thing.

2. MIGOS, CARDI B, NICKI MINAJ – MOTORSPORT

Yeah, it’s a video with Migos, but it’s pretty much the song of the year with our ladies Cardi B and Nicki Minaj who are leading mainstream hip hop nowadays. Their strong lyrics and flow didn’t get next to the rap trio, rather the opposite, which absolutely proved they have their position right.

3. ASIAN DOLL – GUCCI

Dallas spitter Asian Doll is pretty much the rising star of our list. She has unusually good rap style, great beats, and way too many hits. Her albums don’t belong to those, where you can hardly pick three fave songs. You just love them all.

4. LIL DEBBIE – F THAT

Is Lil Debbie undervalued? According to us, she is one of the best rappers of our time. The Cali native doesn’t really feel like she’s being recognized for it and she expressed her thoughts in this video. F That sums it up quite well.

5. QUEEN KEY – NOT NOMO‘

Talking about underestimation, here is Queen Key. Only 21 year old rapper from Chicago sounds very confident, but not in an arrogant way. She doesn’t hate, but rather has this I-don’t-give-a-fuck smile on her face all the time and we really take it. Her attitude makes her voice and bars even better.

6. ASIAN DOLL – NICE TO MEET YA

Here we go again, but as we said, Asian Doll just makes too many hits and you need to hear her in her rawest. She doesn’t waste her time, but makes music and videos instead. Time to meet her.

7. QUEEN KEY – MY WAY

Even Queen Key deserves another spot in this list. Check her way and you’ll get what we said about her earlier. Queen of attitude we all wish to have.

8. LADY LESHURR – F MY EX

Little more furious rap comes from Britain’s own Lady Leshurr. She proved many times she’s a queen of comparisons in all the Queen Speech projects. Leshurr keeps her queendom and funny bars in F My Ex video too. Overqueening? Hardly.

9. REMY MA FEAT. LIL KIM – WAKE ME UP

Legends must make the list too. It’s not exactly the kind of instrumental that fits in current hip hop music, but we are talking about Remy Ma and Lil Kim, the rap royalty from New York City. And they can do anything they want.

10. CUPCAKKE – CARTOONS

We love diversity. Especially, when there are only couple women rappers in mainstream culture. And we gotta admit, they are not that much different from each other. If you think their lyrics are too explicit, CupcakKe might shock you. And this is probably her softest video yet.
